  • So seriously...did the time just fly by or what?! i mean, i still feel like i just got home, and now Christmas has passed, New Years is around the Corner, and me going to college is that much closer! Holy Cow!!!! why does the time have to fly by so fast?
anyway, Christmas was great! had lots of fun hanging out with the family. Basically, the house was Way WAY packed! but it made things so much fun! To say that the Nieces were happy to see me (and bug me again) would be a huge understatement! but yeah. such is life. So for Christmas, it was a really simple Christmas this year. Not a lot of presents, but that's not what Christmas is about!
But through all this time, i have become an addict to the Wii (Especially Guitar Hero, Mario Karts, and Mario Smash Brothers!) and have also become addicted to my new (but used) iPod Touch! it's so much fun.
The Homecoming talk went a lot better than i thought. i had absolutely nothing planned, and just talked and talked. i didn't even realize how much i talked until i looked at the clock, and realized i had been talking for about...20 or so minutes. that shocked me! but it went well. I had no idea how to start it, but in the end, i made it through. Then, i stayed to "Go to class" but in the "camino" i ran into some friends, and we just talked the whole time until the bell rang. so i go to Bro. Marshall's class and get some fudge and cake mix cookies!!! I love that man. he is so dang funny!!! He has to be by far one of the greatest Sunday school teachers ever!!!!! Seeing him, and a lot of other people, brought back so many memories of the "Old Days"! but it was great! I love the 3rd Ward.
Oh, and before i went to the 3rd ward, i had to give my testimony in the 4th ward (Spanish Speaking) it went really well, and i talked with all the Chapines (Guatemalans). But the short time i have been home has been great. it is sort of weird. you just pick right up where you left sort of. obviously, not exactly where you left off because a lot of things have changed, but you get the drift!!!

So today in the morning, we went to the temple! that was great as always! in the afternoon, i went and watched Hancock, which is a great movie and then played the Wii for a little while! and at night, we went to the Ethel M's Cactus Gardens. I took some pics!

    Me, Jason, Mary, Stephanie

Afterwards, we went through the store and i ended up spending $16 on 12 amazing pieces of Chocolate!!!!! It was so worth it!

  • Almost Time

Stewart wants everyone to know the big news!  so as you might have noticed, he hasn't written in a long time.  he has been serving a 2 year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints in the Guatemala Guatemala City Central Mission.  Well, those 2 years are coming to an end quickly.  he wants everyone to know that he will be home on the 16 of December!!!  From his emails (sorry i haven't updated) he is very happy with his mission.  he has had lots of success and has enjoyed every second.  but yeah.  i'll let him write about his experiences in about 1 month when he's home.  so yeah!  just so you all know!!!!
